In 1992 he began his higher academic studies at the Faculty of Economics of the Bolivian Catholic University. In 1993 he managed to be awarded a scholarship to the People’s Republic of China, and was admitted to “Zhejiang Agricultural University” in Hangzhou city.
On July 15, 1998, the Zhejiang Agricultural University of the People’s Republic of China awarded the academic title of “Bachelor of Agronomy”.
In December 2015, he was invited to assume the functions of Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Bolivia to the People’s Republic of China.
The Bolivian Foreign Ministry collaborated in organizing the Bolivian Pavilion at the First International Import Exhibition of China (CIIE), held from November 05 to 10, 2018. Products for export to China were promoted.
Main promoter of the Export Protocols for Quinoa, Coffee, Soy and Beef to the People’s Republic of China.
